COVID-19 Update

The well-being of our community is at the heart of everything we do at Fusion5 and with growing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, we want you to know our top priority is you, your teams and patients. Our operations are running strong to support everyone in the Fusion5 community, and we’ve made the adjustment to temporarily close down our St. Louis office and have those employees work remotely to help keep them safe and reduce potential spread of the virus. A vast majority of the Fusion5 team already works remotely and this will have no impact on our service and operations.

We are in close communication with CMS as to how COVID-19 could impact the BPCI-A program, including any potential adjustments to the program and how to handle patients who have been affected by COVID-19. Part of the communication with CMS includes the contractual language in our BPCI agreement regarding CMS’s ability to adjust NPRA at reconciliation due to an emergency and the use of 1135 waivers.

As we continue to monitor this situation and make adjustments, we wanted to share an update on some of the ways we are protecting the Fusion5 community.

Adhering to Expert Recommendations:
In order to safeguard our Fusion5 community, we are closely monitoring the messaging from local and federal authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We encourage you to do the same and stay informed.

Unwavering Support:
We will continue to work diligently every day to keep our operations running smoothly for our clients and to ensure we will not let you down. We’ll use our blog to share key updates with you throughout this time and our Regional Teams will continue their high level of contact with you to ensure our support of your efforts results in continued sustainability.

Communication and Connection: Human connection is essential to daily life, whether it’s interacting with patients or providing support to caregivers. For the safety of our community, we have postponed all travel and in-person meetings. We know how important connection and information is, so we will continue our webinar series to ensure we are all sharing new developments and workarounds for challenges this situation may bring to light.
